I dreamed
I was guzzling coffee from a convenience store machine. I kept going back to the machine for refills. This strikes me as hilarious because I routinely avoid caffeine, and in fact, only drink coffee on vacation, though in the dream I was at work. Also… I’m that tired that even while sleeping, I’m dreaming that I’m trying to stay awake. WTF?
Anyway… not much to say… last night was a lot of fun… people seemed to like my salsa… so that’s good… I only snagged one picture of a dish, but then gave up as I just decided to eat… food was good of course !!! I hope everyone posts their recipes soon !

And, bento! Though I am really craving Vietnamese food and am debating heading over to Chinatown for some bun and summer rolls. Hmm, hmm, hmm…

yum, how did you make the beet salad? i have a can of beets i’ve been dying to use.
I remember you telling me that bentos are not meant to be heated…so do you eat that at room temp or cold? Just curious.

this is only slightly relevant, but i went to qdoba yesterday and they didn’t have salsa because the CDC issued a tomato warning apparently. they didn’t write more than that. it was very strange.
ryc: lol no it doesn’t disturb me at all to hear that you know my sister. i actually wanted to write about knowing people general, as close friends. but it turned into ..that.
@make_love___not_war - no idea, as i posted, i didn’t make it, someone else did. it was a potluck.
@cherwhoah - room temp. i don’t put them in the fridge when i get to work because people are disgusting and nasty and THIEVES.
@Anniepooch - actually since i ordered these online, the box itself cost like 1.50! how awesome?!
there’s currently a salmonella issue with raw tomatoes. i used canned to avoid the problem, and also bc im lazy and don’t have a food processor. i like mine less watery/mashed too (which is how i messed it up- i didn’t drain off enough liquid, so it came out more liquidy than i like), which is hard to achieve if you use a food processor.
ah sorry i didn’t catch that, oh well, it looks really tasty.
