Relaxing Memorial Day Weekend
Dang, I got taken care of this weekend. It’s an unusual feeling for the caretaker to feel taken care of, y’know? I have a bunch of really funny pictures but instead of putting them here, I’m just going to put them on Facebook. Neener neener neener.
Ooh… but then I won’t have much to talk about.
Well, baby booked and planned a trip for the two of us (swoon!) to Ocean City, MD. So we went. Unfortunately I was so tired, that by the time we arrived the first night, I took a nap and didn’t wake up until the next morning. Oops. I guess I wasted a day, but oh well, that “nap” was necessary and added to my enjoyment the next day.
Hmm… going through my pictures, I don’t feel like sharing any on Xanga. Oh well.
But we both got terrific sunburns, his much worse than mine (despite the fact that we’re both equally Irish! Hah!), though right now it hurts to be wearing clothes.
We ate tons of fun food, middle America cuisine (ie, places I can’t find in NYC, not for lack of trying: Cracker Barrel, Denny’s, Dairy Queen… yum yum!), and played mini-golf… it turns out I’m lefty… saw some crazy religious people… saw a couple of fun things… well, yeah. Had a great time
and hit up a bunch of middle America stores too. I love middle America for a few reasons… not first of all because of the food 
Okok I’m going to run now, but here’s a pic of my lunch.

i’ve always wanted to try cracker barrel! meanie had no idea what kind of food it was until i explained to him over the weekend. we’ll have to try it! yum!
cracker barrel’s some good stuff. we saw some people dressed like the amish when we stopped at one driving back. but we were wondering how they got to a cracker barrel in the first place.
mmm cracker barrel! I <3 Ocean City! It’s my ghetto Hamptons hahahah! Seriously, I make it a point to go there at least 1-2 times a year during crab season of course. I always hit the same spot. You ate crab right?? – please tell me you did so I can live vicariously through you.
